3. Mobile Application Device Data (Google Play / App Stores)
When you use the SolYield mobile app, we may access or process the following device data only for the stated feature purposes. Access requires your OS permission where applicable:
3.1. Microphone
Used for the in-app voice assistant (speech input) and for on-device wake-word detection (“hello solar”) while you are on ticket, site, or assistant screens with the app in the foreground. Wake-word audio is processed on-device for detection and is not uploaded for that purpose. Microphone listening for the wake word pauses when the app is backgrounded or closed.
3.2. Speech recognition and text-to-speech
Used when you interact with the voice assistant to convert speech to text and read responses aloud.
3.3. Camera and photos / media files
Used when you capture or select images or documents for ticket attachments, forms, or account settings (for example logos or signatures).
3.4. Precise location (while using the app)
Used only when a form is configured to capture location on submission, and only after you grant location permission. We do not use background location.
3.5. Account and app data
Authentication tokens and session data are stored securely on the device (for example via the platform secure store). App preferences such as theme may be stored locally.
3.6. What we do not do with mobile device sensors
We do not sell personal information collected through the mobile app. We do not use the microphone for advertising. Wake-word detection does not continuously record or store your conversations.

-
Management of Solar Plant Owner Data: Data enables effective solar efficiency management and optimization with tailored interfaces and reports.
